The farm-focused restaurant is the newest concept from respected Asheville chef, William Dissen. Located in The Ascent, a new multi-use development located on the corner of Poplar & 3rd, that offers views of both BB&T Park and Romare Bearden Park; Dissen hopes to have a community garden to grow Haymaker's ingredients. Haymaker's name is a nod to a farming technique that involves swinging a blade through grass and weeds to make hay, pairing perfectly with the restaurants adopted motto; "Make hay while the sun shines."

Our reclaimed oak, Saint Jerome, can be found throughout the beautiful two-story restaurant and pairs perfectly with Dissen's vision of having a fully LEED-certified space similar to his Asheville restaurant, The Market Place.
