The Ivey's Hotel is the latest boutique hotel from The MRK Hotel Collection. The structure was originally built in the early 1900's as Ivey's Department Store. MRK Investments spent the last two years, and $25 million dollars, revitalizing the historic space at 127 North Tryon St. The hotel encompasses roughly 38,000 square feet, and you can find the our, "Bastille," reclaimed French oak floors throughout the property. MRK used the sophisticated history of Ivey's Department Store for much of their design inspiration and brilliantly combined that with their own Art Deco and European flair for a truly luxurious boutique property.
